Embraceon Key

by Deaulivery 9. October 2009 08:53

Embraceon Key is my latest literary creation... A fictional band name.

I am pronouncing it Embrace-sea-on Key, and I will write a metaphoric song about the sea in the future, but for now it is keyed-off as an embrace, Embrace-on Key.

Here is a fragment of the song lyrics (first song of Embraceon Key... kind of what is this key?)

...

You had the steering wheel,
I had the staring will
to meet love at first sight.

Refilled each day
 thanks to quick lightning thoughts,
I'm making my way up
from under the raising of the eyebrows of some,
Jumping over their foreheads,
Then reading off the top of the roof:

Embrace your day
like the softest intent of a pilow's hay.
If you pleh E ay E ay E ay it gentle,
She'll be driving back to you...

Now,
         Embraceon key
is that bracelet worn around her wrist.
If you may E ay E ay E ake it simple,
Like the love pulses supplies,
So the many hugs may imply
that this is the jewel made for you,
And that is built to compliment you!

Launching an embrace world-wise,
Spreading like a rainbow across the sky,
I'm feeling like a hug source in disguise,
Hoping to wrap my arms around you
                          like a pulse supply!

  Think about the clouds that are driven away;
Associate that with some people going astray.

I'm sending out this invitation for a positive way,
And if you pick it up,
              Live a momentous day,
                Then pay it forward
     across somebody else's darkened sky.

...

The Land (poem/song)

by Deaulivery 28. June 2009 09:40

I wrote this poem (song) while listening to the voices of Celtic Woman last night.  It's just an extract from my piece, but it features a distant land and a passion for a love. The "it" and "her" do have their own metaphoric meaning.

The rDeau, in fact, is something which features poetry, but more about it at a later date.

     I saw (the land)

"I...
    ... Saw the land...

         So distant!
             So peaceful!
                 Still so extant!

         So, despite the wind's respite,
         Her smile scoured my memory,
And, my riposte to the land
was thrusted in the horizon's instance
of the sky's and the earth's joint vase!

Its moments drove me through her days,
I ran past history and opened dates...
They were scarcely credulous in cadence.
But its people were so ardent for her decadance!

Its nightfall placed her eyes on me,
I fell for all her destiny!
That's how I felt once being lead
     through its timeline's bravery,
It's as if I was being poured
into her cup of a timeless winery!

I...
  ... Saw the lay...

       So abstract!
             So resourceful!
                    Such extract!"
